Trusting Your Intuition

By zoeyjordan

Do you listen to your little voice? Do you encourage it to speak up? If you can believe it, intuition is a real form of knowledge. It’s a natural function of body and brain. if you can learn to interpret your intuition, you can possibly make smarter decisions. Really…that’s what neuro-psychiatrists are saying.

Actress Toni Collette says “the better you know yourself, the better your relationship with the rest of the world.” So Hollywood and neuro-psychiatrists agree. But seriously, it makes sense doesn’t it?

I challenge you to remember a time when you entered into a professional or personal relationship, and the little voice inside sent you a signal saying “watch out, proceed with caution, don’t do it..” Did you listen to it? Did you ignore it? How did that relationship work out? Most likely, your voice or intuition told you all that you needed to know.  It generally does.

When you’re faced with a major decision, consider making a chart. Write down your options. What would be the benefits, and what might be the challenges? Make note of your thoughts, emotions, dreams, and physical sensations you experience when weighing your decision. Do you feel overwhelmingly for or against? Use this reflection to make your decision. Your feelings are an excellent gauge – and are a reflection of your intuition. So next time, listen to what your gut is trying to tell you!

this is so great, I am highly intuitive, and yet, there is a decision in my life recently where I was not completely trusting my instincts……question, though, how doe LOA and intuition work….if I think something is “off” about someone or something does merely thinking this make it so or is this my higher self guiding me?

I love how prolific and concise your writing is, Zoey!

You’re too kind Michelle, you beautiful being of light!

Thanks for sharing your comments. My belief is that if we’re in alignment, and we’re open to receiving, we get those vibes, those little hints, that this person or situation requires our attention. I have grown to trust myself and my instincts. Things are what they are – we experience emotional reactions that make things personal to us. We have to use our own filters to determine how we will chose to consciously experience the person or the situation.
